Series SAUTER HE
Hardness testing made easy
The digital Shore hardness testers from the SAUTER HE series offer a wide range of functions for determining the hardness of plastics using penetration measurement. For example, the Shore A model is suitable for testing rubber, elastomers, neoprene, silicone, vinyl, soft plastics, felt and leather, the Shore D model is suitable for testing a wide range of plastics, including resin, formica, epoxy and Plexiglass cut to size. Different measurement modes make it possible to determine average and maximum values and to control measurements over time, which increases precision. A limit value alarm function triggers an acoustic and visual signal when the specified limit values are exceeded or exceeded. It is possible to enter a workpiece number as well as select the measuring time from 0 to 99 seconds. The large display with backlight makes work easier, even in poor lighting conditions.

Entry-level video microscope with simple handling
The Kern OIV-3 is a video microscope which has been constructed to optimise digital stereo microscopy. Our well-conceived, comprehensive solution with axial optical unit enables immediate, simple display of your samples on the screen. The LED incident illumination unit (ring) included as standard guarantees the very best illumination of your sample. Combined with the large working surface, recording objects on the screen is ideally suited for monitoring, analysis and documentation in industrial environments. The excellent optical unit enables continuous sharp image tracking across the entire zoom range from 7x-45x. The powerful 5 MP camera of the microscope without eyepieces offers, thanks to the HDMI output, smooth live monitoring of your samples from the HD monitor. With the user-friendly software, the USB stick as well as the USB wireless mouse, which are integral components of the delivery, you can process and store your results digitally. An additional HDMI interface makes it possible to connect an external monitor and thus enable live observation on two devices operated in parallel. A special feature of this microscope series are the zoom wheels with integrated click-stop. The click-stop-feature offers precise selection of the magnification level and supports the user in calibrating the documentation functions in the software. A protective dust cover as well as multi-lingual user instructions are included in the scope of delivery.
